Bathroom Cleaning Hacks
I am not a diligent cleaner when it come to bathrooms. So I am excited to find some fuss-free and affordable cleaning methods for those stubborn stains common in toilets. Going to share them with you now!
Remove Water Stains of Glass Shower Screen
Glass shower screen gives the bathroom a modern-day aesthetics. It looks good when the glass is brand new and sparkling. However, after using the bathroom for a while, homeowners would soon find a foggy/cloudy looking glass marked with watermarks and grime.
For ourselves, we used a glass wiper to swipe off the water after every shower. Still, there’s the stains, albeit they took longer to appear than if we had not wiped.
Solutions
1) Baking Soda Paste
- Baking Soda Paste: Mix 3 parts baking soda and 1 part water.
- Scrub the paste on the glass with a non-abrasive sponge. Allow it to sit for a while.
- Wash the paste away and clean the glass with water.
- Dry the glass to prevent the watermarks from returning.
P.s. Use your baking soda paste for other parts of the bathroom too! Places such as the walls, sinks, and toilet bowls.
2) Vinegar Solution
- Vinegar Solution: Fill up a spray bottle with a 50-50 solution of vinegar and water.
- Spray the vinegar solution onto the glass.
- Rub the area in a circular motion with a lint-free towel. If not, paper towels work as well. Concentrate on visible stains or grime. Work quickly to avoid streaks from appearing.
- Dry the surface with a microfiber cloth.
p.s. vinegar smell will be around for a bit.
Fogless Mirror
- Vinegar Solution: Fill up a spray bottle with a 50-50 solution of vinegar and water.
- Spray the vinegar solution onto the glass and wipe away with cloth or old newspaper to create a shiny, spotless mirror.
- Wipe your mirror with some shaving cream.
- Wash off the shaving cream.
- Enjoy your fogless mirror after a hot shower!
Remove Mould in Grooves
